Inspired by their global travels, Jay’s life work is focused on researching, preserving, and reimagining food of the African diaspora and our ancestors, one bite at a time, through their unique culinary lens.

THICC Burger is an old-fashioned “hood” burger joint that highlights the flavors of LA, while paying homage to some of the bu. We started out doing roaming pop ups around the country, and now we are based in Atlanta, inside of the Edgewood landmark - Sister Louisa’s Church
